(b. n Homburg / Saar, Germany, 1973) Lives and works in Berlin (Germany).
Rick studied Art History and Philosophy at the Universität des Saarlandes in Saarbrücken and, later, Sculpture at the Karlsruhe Academy of Arts. He has made several solo exhibitions in galleries and museums, such as: ‘Sorry We`re Closed’, Brussels; Vilma Gold, London; Patricia Low Contemporary, Gstaad, St. Moritz; De Hallen, Haarlem; Gallery Rüdiger Schöttle, Munich; The Breeder, Athens; Alegría Gallery, Madrid; Cruise & Callas, Berlin; and Klara Wallner Gallery, Berlin. He participated in the Busan Biennial in South Korea and in Vent des Foret in France, where he made permanent large-scale public sculptures.
The gallery began its journey in 2013, with the goal of sharing the work of emerging and mid-career artists. Its curatorial line answers to a simple standard: to be seduced by the plasticity of the works, and to configure a program destined to satisfying those who look for a space for delight and reflection in contemporary art, from the partnership between knowledge and subject.
