Estación Material is an art fair that showcases contemporary art production in Mexico. For its third edition in Guadalajara, the fair will debut a new exhibition-style format featuring exceptional works for sale, presented by over 20 distinguished galleries and independent spaces from across Mexico.

We warmly welcome a diverse audience — from seasoned art collectors to those new to the art world — to explore and celebrate Mexico’s incredible contemporary art scene during an unforgettable week in Guadalajara.

Nueva Sede: Plataforma

Plataforma is the new home for Estación Material in Guadalajara. The fair will take over all four levels of the space, which include large exhibition halls, an auditorium, a video room, open-air patios, and an enchanting rooftop.

Situated in the Americana neighborhood, Plataforma is a center for contemporary art and curatorial research, which offers exhibitions and public programming throughout the year.

The fair opens to the public from September 27th through 29th, 2024, following the Private View on Thursday, September 26th exclusively for members of our program, Invited.

Llegada y Accesibilidad

Plataforma is easily accessible by various modes of transportation and is designed to accommodate all guests:

• Bicycle: Spaces for visitors to secure their bicycles are available near the entrance to Plataforma along Avenida Vallarta, with a MiBici station located around the corner on Robles Gil.
• Public Transit: There is a nearby bus stop on the C104 line at the corner of Av. Chapultepec and Calle Pedro Moreno.
• Car: Street parking is available in the vicinity, which can be managed through the Parkimóvil app.
• Accessibility: You can find a wheelchair-accessible ramp to enter Plataforma from Avenida Vallarta and guests with reduced mobility will be permitted to use the elevator.
