About Estación Material

Estación Material is Mexico’s distinctive contemporary art fair: a focused meeting point for galleries, artists, collectors, curators, and art lovers committed to the country’s contemporary art scene.

For its fifth edition, the fair will bring together a carefully selected group of galleries and independent spaces from across Mexico, each presenting exceptional works from their program. Presented in an exhibition-style format at Plataforma, in Guadalajara’s Colonia Americana, Estación Material invites visitors to discover some of the most compelling voices in contemporary art in Mexico today.

Venue: Plataforma

Plataforma is the home of Estación Material in Guadalajara. The fair takes over the entire building, which includes two expansive exhibition floors, an auditorium, outdoor patios, and a rooftop terrace.

Located in the heart of Colonia Americana, Plataforma is a center for contemporary art and curatorial research that hosts exhibitions and public programming year-round.

Fair Dates & Hours.

The fair opens to the public from September 25th through 27th, 2026, following the Private View on Thursday, September 24th exclusively for members of our program, Invited.

• Sunday, September 27th, 11AM–6PM

*Terrace will remain open until 11PM

Tickets are now available for advance purchase online or can be purchased at the fair’s ticketing desk, availability permitting.

Arrival and Accessibility

Plataforma is easily accessible by bike, public transit, and car, with accessibility support available for guests with reduced mobility:

• Bicycle: Bike parking is available near Plataforma’s entrance on Avenida Vallarta, with a Mi Bici station located around the corner at Robles Gil / Av. Vallarta.
• Public Transit: A nearby C104 bus stop is located around the corner of Av. Chapultepec and Calle Pedro Moreno.
• Car: Limited street parking is available in the surrounding area. Where indicated, metered parking can be paid through the Blinkay app.
• Accessibility: Plataforma has a wheelchair-accessible ramp at the Avenida Vallarta entrance, and guests with reduced mobility may use the elevator. For any additional accessibility questions, please write to us at info@material-fair.com.
